Testing 5G Use Cases in an AI-Powered, Cloud-Based Sandbox

In a collaborative effort AWS, Spirent and Mavenir showcase the potential of GenAI and the cloud in enabling service providers to swiftly establish 5G networks, including private networks, while also exploring innovative services.

Mavenir’s contribution was key, providing a robust 5G core network along with a network data analytics function (NWDAF) to collect network data, and a network exposure function (NEF) to integrate the 5G core network capabilities with external applications like AWS GenAI or third-party apps. Additionally, Mavenir’s 5G Core Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) effectively handled connection and mobility management tasks.

This demonstration exemplified how Mavenir empowers service providers to accelerate 5G technology and GenAI adoption and drive monetization.
