Chuck is the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Mavenir, responsible for the company’s global legal function, including litigation oversight and strategy, commercial contracts, legal compliance, and certain corporate governance, intellectual property and M&A matters.

With extensive public company, private equity, M&A and securities experience, Chuck has served as the chief legal officer/general counsel of both publicly traded and private equity-backed technology companies.

Most recently, Chuck was the Chief Legal Officer for MediaKind (f/k/a Ericsson Media Solutions), in connection with Ericsson’s divestiture of that business. Prior to MediaKind, Chuck was the EVP and Chief Legal Officer of Imagine Communications responsible for the global legal function, where he negotiated several multimillion-dollar recoveries, closed multiple multinational acquisitions, enhanced the governance and compliance framework, led from a legal perspective the company’s global rebranding, and successfully quarterbacked various litigation matters and favorable settlements.

Prior to Imagine Communications, Chuck was the SVP and General Counsel of SourceHOV (now part of Exela Technologies Inc.). While at SourceHOV, Chuck was responsible for the full legal function and led from a legal perspective numerous acquisitions and other transformative transactions.

Prior to SourceHOV, Chuck was a partner in the corporate security section of Jackson Walker LLP, a Texas-based law firm, where he represented both public and private clients in M&A, securities and other transactional or regulatory matters.

Chuck received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Texas, and his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.
