The Softwarised Network and How to Get There

Observability and being able to collect data without custom tooling is one of the reasons driving softwarisation. Another is being able to re-use the hardware for different purposes and generate the benefits of scaling software up and down. Such will ultimately enable operators to monetise network resources for new use cases.
